It’s Working!!!!!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Jumping Jahosafats, By George I we got it!  It’s working!  I love how nature works.  In so many ways nature responds exactly the way humans respond.  The same love, care, protection, and nurturing that you give to your gardens, forests, and parks are identical to the love, care, protection, and nurturing that you give you family, friends, and loved ones.  We all thrive in these conditions, grow stronger and find such contentment.  Nature is the same way, it grows, blooms, and returns year after year when those same conditions are met.  Nature and Humans are also resilient, we find ways to heal, transform, and even grow in less than perfect conditions too.

My pumpkins are a perfect example.  I took an al and scratched into its skin to hopefully create a design.  Sounds terrible when I think about it!  Yikes, I am smarting from that description.   I was worried that the insect community would infiltrate those scratches and ruin my pumpkins.  But, no the pumpkin has healed those scratches with a tan bumpy scar of its own.  It has found a way to incorporate those open wounds into its own natural design.

The have continued to grow and flourish, they are just now deepening their color.  Little did they know that they were going to be the center of attention at this upcoming nuptial. What a relief to see that I didn’t destroy those gorgeous orange beauties!

There you go, another √ off the decorations to-do list!   Moving right along….. Cyn

About designbycyn

Sonoma County, California ceramic enthusiasts Cyn and Steven Gradek have worked in the clay medium since 1996. They had a retail store where they held classes and provided the essentials for fellow ceramic enthusiasts. The business evolved into producing for other retail outlets and artist. Which quickly grew and they closed the retail storefront and concentrated on the wholesale business. With their 3 children raised and on their own, they had time to pursue their own creativity. Cyn learned how to embroider from her Grandma Cirner at a young age. After that she found sewing, cross stitching, crocheting, well you get the jist, LOL. She hasn't met a craft that she hasn't liked. Blogging was suggested by her youngest daughter, Colleen. At first it was a battle to get her to try it, but eventually Cyn started to enjoy the exercise. The blog on Cyn's website designbycyn.com was limiting, so Colleen got her started with Wordpress. Hope you enjoy her Adventures with Creativity!
